What does the Institute do for me as member?

The Institute provides training on property related topics to its members.
The Institute represents the interests of its members at the Local Authority.
The Institute has representation on behalf of its members at the Department of Trade and Industry as well as at the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB).
The Institute remains constantly in touch with new legislation which could effect the industry.
The Institute, through the combined and individual knowledge and experience of its directors on property industry related matters, gives advice on legal and ethical aspects of the industry – free of charge to its members!
The Institute provides free mediation and arbitration in cases of dispute.
The Institute has negotiated reduced registration fees with the Local Authority for mandatory registration for outdoor advertising. Institute members pay R500, as opposed to R2000 for non-members.
Through regular social functions, the Institute creates the opportunity for networking amongst member
